How long does a trip on the Umadum take?
Standard: Approx. 30 minutes 2 rotations of approx. 15 minutes each.
How many people fit in a gondola?
Standard gondola for up to 16 people
Exclusive gondola for up to 8 people
Themed gondola & VIP gondola for up to 6 people
Can I just come by and ride the Umadum?
Yes, standard trips without reservation are possible at any time.
Do I still need to reserve a time for my trip?
No, you don't need that. Just drop by during our opening hours on the day your ticket is valid.
Are wheelchairs permitted?
Yes, wheelchairs with a maximum width of 70 cm can travel at any time. Unfortunately, electronic wheelchairs are not permitted for safety reasons.
Are dogs allowed in the Umadum?
For safety reasons, dogs are unfortunately not allowed on the bus.
Are the gondolas heated / air-conditioned?

Why umadum?
Why was the name of the Ferris wheel changed?
We wanted to give the Ferris wheel a name that conveys emotions and a sense of life. We deliberately opted for a Bavarian name.
Who came up with the name Umadum?
There was a naming competition between MAURER SE, the Werksviertel and hi-sky Consulting GmbH. An employee of MAURER SE submitted the proposal.
What does the new name mean?
According to Duden Bavarian for all around
How did Umadum's new branding / logo come about?
URKERN GmbH submitted several creative proposals and the shareholders agreed on the proposal in a joint process.
Why is the Umadum staying in the Werksviertel-Mitte for longer after all?
The duration of the Munich Ferris wheel depends on the start of construction work on the Konzerthaus. This has been postponed indefinitely.
How long will the Umadum stay in Munich?
At its current location until construction of the concert hall begins, or longer if a new location is found.
